At Studio Dan Meiners, we believe flowers speak a universal language of love, connection, and true artistry. Our arrangements are crafted with intention by floral designers who love what they do and it shows. They work in a range of styles — modern, elegant, timeless, garden‑inspired – but always with a focus on gorgeous design and sourcing the freshest flowers from all over the world.

Over 25 years ago, Dan Meiners started Studio Floral & Events, and his talent, design skills and vision built one of Kansas City’s most sought after floral and event companies. We’ve watched Kansas Citians fall in love, get married, grow families, celebrate Super Bowls, hit home runs, open businesses and we’ve loved every minute. We’re part of the KC community and are going strong. As Dan retires, Creative Director Justin McGuire and the Studio team are proud and happy to carry on the tradition of beautiful florals, memorable moments and unforgettable events with our distinctive style and a renewed commitment to excellence.

We wanted a brighter and more accessible space for our Studio with a neighborhood feel, and found it on the corner of 75th and Wornall in Waldo. We’ve opened the doors to a beautifully renovated walk-in shop, grab and go bouquets and huge studio space. We’re in the building formerly known as “Dave Smith the Lampmaker” at 7432 Wornall Road, and after its little “glow up”, we’re excited for you to see it. It also houses our sample showroom, offices, class and workshop space under one roof – creating a place where inspiration, laughter, community and creativity can flourish.

We’d love to meet you – and hope you’ll drop by for a visit, choose some blooms, and see our selection of unique cards, gifts, and sweets. The showroom area is staged with some of our rental furniture – couches, chairs, tables, rugs and bars – and part of our inventory of event glassware and vases. We still provide full‑service wedding and event planning, custom branding, furniture rentals, lighting, pipe and drape and custom fabrication and installations. Our team designs elevated florals and lounges for weddings, corporate gatherings, galas, balls, sporting events and private celebrations. From bespoke florals and layout design to custom graphics, linens, décor, furniture, glassware, and bar rentals, we bring creativity, years of experience, and attention to detail when planning your event, no matter how large or small.
